Lorrie's
and Ned's kittens 'snuggled in the nest' 5 wks
We promote responsible cat ownership, by encouraging
indoor living and / or cat park, fenced cat proof garden
or personal supervised outdoor walks (Maine coons can be
taught to lead) to keep the cat safe, native wild
life protected and neighbours happy.
About our Kittens:
Our kittens are reared in our home- they are born in
our bedroom, then when they are ready to broaden their
horizons and venture to the rest of the household, they
are allowed unrestricted access to the rest of the house
(after they have had their first vaccination).
The 8-12 week period is an important part of their
growth and social development. Once they move to the
main household their social behaviour and manners
continue to develop. naturally-within the larger group
dynamics ‘what will and won’t do’-in play and normal
contact with their siblings, our family members, the
other cats, our little dogs and of course visitors.
The kittens are beautifully socialised and bonded to
people-they are playful, happy, confident little purr
machines, that are accustomed to the daily activities
and comings and goings of our home.
I anticipate they will be ready to move to their new
homes from 12 weeks old.
They will be: Litter trained, weaned onto quality food,
have Micro chipped ID, Vaccinated x 2, Neutered (desexed),
have had a regular worming program and be
flea treated, Vet health checked, Registered with the
Cat Association of Tas, Written Kitten Agreement
A swag of goodies, care information and a special
little gift.
To keep your new kitten happy and healthy we encourage
and personally recommend:
They be loved and played with, and have a cat gym or
scratch pole and toys for them to put on impromptu fun
and laughter shows for your entertainment.
A warm bed and sunny
window sill.
They be fed sufficient quantity of
premium quality cat food.
Have clean fresh water available at
all times.
Have unrestricted access to their
litter box.
Be kept safe and protected from
outdoor dangers.
Be treated regularly for internal and
external parasites.
Have an annual vaccination booster
and veterinary health check.
